Welcome to our exciting section on  Guns 'N' Stuff, covering the different periods of the Old West.
The guns below are reproductions and new ... naturally we haven't found the treasure chest of originals (grin!) ... these guns actually
fire and function as they did in that time period. Many of the products are handcrafted.

Historical Area!
Our federally licensed inventory consists of over 400 gun belts and 1000 shooting
irons.  Both original and reproduction, with an emphasis on using the correct gun for
the time period.  Our research library contains many firearms related books and we
try to place the proper firearm in the lands of actual people or appropriate guns for
fictional characters.
For instance, historical persons like Wyatt Earp, Buffalo Bill, Wild Bill, Billy the Kid,
Jesse and Frank James or any other actual person will use the same type of gun that
historians have documented they used.   The actor will be trained in the careful use of
each firearm.
A fictional character will use the appropriate weapon for the time period.  If the film
is set in 1880, he will not use an 1892 Winchester or in 1865, he'll not have an 1873
Colt.   The gun business during the industrial age was similar to the computer business
of today.  What's state of the art in one year was obsolete the next.  What Jesse
James carried in 1870 he did not have in 1880.
Our research library and extensive armory gives our company the advantage over
other companies who specialize in more modern armament for their bread and butter.
Our armorer has over 35 years of experience as a gunsmith specializing in 19th
Century firearms.  If a gun breaks, as they sometimes do, he can fix it.  We pride
ourselves in the hundreds of shows we've participated in to have little or no down
time.
Our blanks are custom made by 4 different manufacturers to our specifications.  We
like smoke and flash but we're light on the noise.
We don't like to scare horses, women or sound men, but want to give the proper
effect of what 19th Century firearms produced.
Our dummy rounds are made for the individual firearm so our shooting irons will have
the appropriate cartridges.
Nothing is more irritating to a knowledgeable person than seeing a character with a
.44-40 rifle wearing a bandolier sporting 7mm rifle rounds.  Too many viewers are
stuck on the Frito bandits.
